Talking of her 1997 hit music that’s nonetheless so widespread greater than 20 years after its launch, the ‘You are Nonetheless the One’ singer admits, ‘I did not notice it will go this far or be memorable.’
Shania Twain has reversed her view of Brad Pitt, after famously singing the actor did not “impress” her “much.”
Again in 1997, the Canadian star dropped her huge hit “That Don’t Impress Me Much”, which included the lyric, “Okay, so you’re Brad Pitt – that don’t impress me much!”
Nevertheless, Shania, now 54, has had time to re-think the road, and she or he advised Britain’s The Every day Telegraph she is now an enormous fan of the 56-year-old Oscar winner.
“I must say I’m very impressed by Brad’s wonderful career,” she gushed, praising his position in director Quentin Tarantino‘s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” which earned Pitt the gong final month (February).
“He’s been getting some great accolades recently, so I’m very proud of Brad,” Shania added. “I hope he takes it (old lyric) with the sense of humour that was intended.”
The “Up!” singer added she’s amazed her previous hit remains to be so widespread greater than 20 years after its launch, telling the publication: “I like to write with a sense of humour… I didn’t realise it would go this far or be memorable. I’m thrilled that reference has lasted the test of time.”
